The Pulmodyne Control-Cric Kit is a surgical cricothyrotomy system that verifies tracheal location during a surgical airway procedure, without the need for visualization, air aspiration or reliance of fine motor skills. 

The kit has a Cric-Knife with a 10mm long dual sided blade with an integrated sliding trach hook. The dual sided blade offers the possibility of a vertical or horizontal incision. The sliding trach hook slides down over the blade which aids in maintaining placement of the airway. The Sliding Tracheal hook slides over the dual sided blade and into the membrane incision. This helps to maintain the airway for the Cric-Key placement. The Cric-Key has a preshaped stylet that provides tactile feedback of the tracheal rings for airway confirmation. It also has a 5.5mm soft cric-tube with cuff. Once the airway is confirmed via the introducer, and the Cric-Key is fully inserted, the introducer can be removed, and the cuff inflated.
